Convenience is key when it comes to storm safety. An in ground garage storm shelter can be installed in your garage so you never have to leave the comfort of your home to seek shelter from a storm. Garage storm shelters are unique because they can be installed in your garage and don’t require the use of valuable square footage. Your vehicle can be parked safely over the storm shelter, still allowing you access when needed without having to move your vehicle. Installation normally only takes about one day. The concrete is removed, dirt excavated, storm shelter is installed and bolted to the concrete slab. This space saving design allows you to stay out of the weather and out of harms way. 

When it comes to safety above ground, we offer one of the strongest and heaviest above ground safe rooms. Our safe rooms are overbuilt to protect. Their superior strength and  durability ensures the safe room can withstand an EF5 tornado with wind speeds up to 300mph. Our safe rooms are constructed of 1/4″ steel plate and structural C channel. A vault like door opens to the interior to prevent entrapment. The safe rooms are anchored to the concrete slab with 3/4"x7" anchor bolts. The design is complete with three air vents to create natural air flow. We also offer handicap accessible safe rooms and wheelchair accessible safe rooms which are important to those with mobility issues and the elderly. 

One of the safest places to be during a tornado is below ground. A more traditional storm cellar or tornado cellar which is installed outside in yards may be the best for you. A storm cellar can be installed close to your home allowing you quick and easy access to your storm cellar. Our outdoor storm cellars are constructed of steel and unlike concrete storm shelters, a steel storm shelter will not leak and are easy to maintain. The exterior of the storm cellar is coated in a coal tar epoxy to prevent it from rusting. The steps leading into the storm cellar are on the same grade as a normal stairway and provide easy entry into the tornado cellar. Storm cellars for the yard are the most economical option and are perfect for those who do not have a garage.
